These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of thevincenter.com ("the Site"), operated by GoZip LLC, doing business as The Vin Center ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or purchasing a report, you agree to these Terms.
We sell vehicle history reports (including CARFAX® reports obtained through an authorized reseller) and auction history lookups (Copart/IAAI sale records sourced from independent, third-party auction databases). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Carfax, Inc., Copart, Inc., or IAAI, LLC. "CARFAX" is a registered trademark of its respective owner, used here only to identify the genuine report you are purchasing.
Vehicle history and auction data comes from third-party sources outside our control. We do our best to provide accurate, up-to-date information, but we do not guarantee completeness or accuracy. A vehicle not showing auction history does not guarantee it was never sold at auction — it means our sources found no matching record. Reports are a tool to help inform your decision, not a substitute for a professional pre-purchase inspection.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details. Prices are shown in USD before you pay. The Vin Center Plus membership is a recurring monthly subscription that renews automatically until canceled.
Because reports are generated and delivered digitally and immediately, all sales are final once a report has been successfully generated and delivered. If a report fails to generate due to an error on our end, contact us and we will issue a report or refund at our discretion. Membership subscription payments are non-refundable for the current billing period, but you may cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
You can cancel your Vin Center Plus membership at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access to any remaining credits until the end of the current billing period.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoZip LLC / The Vin Center is not liable for any decision made based on a report purchased through the Site, including decisions to buy, sell, or finance a vehicle. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the report or subscription in question.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
